Prof. Henry Leung, University of Calgary, Canada (IEEE Fellow)
Henry Leung (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, in 1991.,He was with the Department of National Defense (DND), Ottawa, ON, Canada, as a Defense Scientist. His main duty there was to conduct research and development of automated surveillance systems, which can perform detection, tracking, identification, and data fusion automatically as a decision aid for military operators. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada. He has more than 200 journal articles and 200 refereed conference papers. His research interests include big data analytic, chaos and nonlinear dynamics, information fusion, machine learning, signal and image processing, robotics, and the Internet of Things. He has authored extensively in the open literature on these topics.,Dr. Leung is a fellow of the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). He has been an Associate Editor for various journals, such as the IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine, International Journal on Information Fusion, the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems. He has also served as the Guest Editors for the special issue “Intelligent Transportation Systems” of the International Journal on Information Fusion and “Cognitive Sensor Networks” of the IEEE Sensors Journal. He is the Topic Editor on “Robotic Sensors” of the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems. He is an Editor of the Springer book series on “Information Fusion and Data Science.”

Prof. Benjamin W. Wah, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, China (IEEE Fellow / ACM Fellow)
Benjamin W. Wah is a Research Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Franklin W. Woeltge Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Previously, he served as the Provost and Wei Lun Professor of Computer Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as the Franklin W. Woeltge Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of the Coordinated Science Laboratory of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. Wah received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, in 1979. He has received many awards for his research and service contributions, including the IEEE-CS W. Wallace-McDowell Award (2006), the IEEE-CS Richard E. Merwin Award (2007), the IEEE-CS Tsutomu Kanai Award (2009), the Distinguished Alumni Award in Computer Science of the University of California, Berkeley (2011), and the Bronze Bauhinia Star of the Hong Kong Self Administrative Region (2021). Wah's research interests are nonlinear search and optimization, multimedia technologies, and artificial intelligence.
Wah co-founded the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering in 1988 and served as its Editor-in-Chief between 1993 and 1996. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence and the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems. In addition, Wah served the IEEE Computer Society in various capacities, including Vice President for Publications (1998 and 1999) and President (2001). He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM, and IEEE.

Prof. Qing Li, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China (IEEE Fellow)
Qing Li is currently a Chair Professor (Data Science) and the Head of the Department of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Formerly, he was the founding Director of the Multimedia software Engineering Research Centre (MERC), and a Professor at City University of Hong Kong where he worked in the Department of Computer Science from 1998 to 2018. Prior to these, he has also taught at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia). Prof. Li served as a consultant to Microsoft Research Asia (Beijing, China), Motorola Global Computing and Telecommunications Division (Tianjin Regional Operations Center), and the Division of Information Technology, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia. He has been an Adjunct Professor of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Wuhan University, and a Guest Professor of the Hunan University (Changsha, China) where he got his BEng. degree from the Department of Computer Science in 1982. He is also a Guest Professor (Software Technology) of the Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China) -- the leading university of the Zhejiang province where he was born.
Prof. Li has been actively involved in the research community by serving as an associate editor and reviewer for technical journals, and as an organizer/co-organizer of numerous international conferences. Some recent conferences in which he is playing or has played major roles include APWeb-WAIM'18, ICDM 2018, WISE2017, ICDSC2016, DASFAA2015, U-Media2014, ER2013, RecSys2013, NDBC2012, ICMR2012, CoopIS2011, WAIM2010, DASFAA2010, APWeb-WAIM'09, ER'08, WISE'07, ICWL'06, HSI'05, WAIM'04, IDEAS'03,VLDB'02, PAKDD'01, IFIP 2.6 Working Conference on Database Semantics (DS-9), IDS'00, and WISE'00. In addition, he served as a programme committee member for over fifty international conferences (including VLDB, ICDE, WWW, DASFAA, ER, CIKM, CAiSE, CoopIS, and FODO). He is currently a Fellow of IEEE and IET/IEE, a member of ACM-SIGMOD and IEEE Technical Committee on Data Engineering. He is the chairperson of the Hong Kong Web Society, and also served/is serving as an executive committee (EXCO) member of IEEE-Hong Kong Computer Chapter and ACM Hong Kong Chapter. In addition, he serves as a councilor of the Database Society of Chinese Computer Federation (CCF), a member of the Big Data Expert Committee of CCF, and is a Steering Committee member of DASFAA, ER, ICWL, UMEDIA, and WISE Society.

Prof. Xindong Wu, Hefei University of Technology, China (IEEE Fellow)
Xindong Wu is Director and Professor of the Key Laboratory of Knowledge Engineering with Big Data (the Ministry of Education of China), Hefei University of Technology, and also Chief Scientist at the CEC Data Industry Group, China. His research interests include big data analytics, data mining and knowledge engineering. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the Hefei University of Technology, China, and his Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Britain. He is a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of IEEE and the AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).
Dr. Wu is the Steering Committee Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), and the Editor in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS, by Springer). He was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE) between 2005 and 2008 and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data Engineering between 2017 and 2020. He served as a program committee chair/co-chair for ICDM 2003 (the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Data Mining), KDD 2007 (the 13th ACM SIGKDD International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining), CIKM 2010 (the 19th ACM Conference on Information and Knowledge Management), and ICBK 2017 (the 8th IEEE International Conference on Big Knowledge).
